Frequently Asked Questions:
How long does a session take?
Each session is approximately 45 minutes to 1.5hours depending on the horse and how they are responding.
Do I need to do anything before you come?
Please have the horse brought in if in the paddock with a halter and lead rope.
Do you provide anything after the session?
Yes, I provide a report that will be sent after the session is complete.
How many treatments do you recommend for a horse?
It all depends on the horse and what is going on. Some horses take a few sessions while others take longer. I have some clients that are now using it as an injury prevention by scheduling maintenance treatments to ensure no restrictions are there.
Can you treat the rider as well?
Yes, I am also an Athletic Therapist treating from the everyday person to elite athletes. Returning clients back to work and play. Sometimes our issues are transferred to the horse, which is why correct position and muscle balance helps maintain a balanced and relaxed horse. I can bring a portable table to treat at your barn or you can book in at the Algonquin Sports Therapy Clinic. www.astc.ca
